SEO & How it Can Help You to Show Up on Google

It ‘s great to have a pretty website but what if no-one can find you?  There are over a trillion webpages out there competing to get shown on the first page of Google.  So how can you get yours to show up and bring you business?

On the other hand if you follow the rules of SEO it’s actually quite simple to get onto the first page as long as you have the budget to beat your competition and you act quickly before your competitors get too savvy.

But there is something else, if you add the name of a town or city to the keyword you type in, then the Google Places results will also appear.

If you didn’t know already, Google Places is a free web page about your business provided by Google that you can add your information to. Google displays results for these in any search that includes a town or city in the keywords.
